Building Leaders, One Experience at a Time

At The Awesome Team Foundation, we believe that people who give their all to help others deserve to be poured into too. That’s why we were honored to support the GX Experience, a multi-day leadership and recognition retreat hosted by the wsbAwesometeam this July in San Jose, California.

The GX Experience is a reward and reset—a way to honor those who work hard to help families through financial education. It’s not just a getaway; it’s a moment to breathe, reflect, and refuel alongside a community of mission-driven leaders.

Day 1: Vision from the Source

The experience began with a visit to WSB Headquarters on Gold Street, where participants got a behind-the-scenes look at the heartbeat of the campaign. The highlight? A 3-hour coaching session with Head Coach Xuan Nguyen, filled with mindset shifts, leadership clarity, and life lessons that will carry forward into every family served.

Day 2: Innovation and Inspiration

Day Two was all about expanding perspective. The group visited the Intel Museum, walked the serene grounds of Apple Park, and immersed themselves in the Google Experience. Each stop offered a glimpse into innovation, reminding participants that bold ideas and relentless belief can change the world—just like financial education can change a family’s future.

At The Awesome Team Foundation, we’re proud to support the leaders and educators who make financial literacy more accessible to families every day. Contributing to the GX Experience is one way we honor the heart and hard work behind that mission.
