On September 22, 2024, the Jimmy Carter Financial Center hosted its annual Trainer's Academy, dedicated to helping financial educators enhance their skills in business and outreach. The event attracted 200 participants, including established business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, all eager to expand their knowledge of effective business practices. Guest speakers from diverse backgrounds delivered actionable advice on business management, strategic planning, and community engagement throughout the day.
The sessions proved invaluable for building a supportive network among attendees, encouraging the exchange of ideas, and fostering collaboration on future projects. This community-building element highlights the academy's role not just as an educational event, but as a catalyst for ongoing professional growth and development.
